About the Role

We are currently expanding our Sales and Business Development team across various levels and are looking for a highly experienced and strategic sales leader to join our team as a Team Lead Sales. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve organizational goals and revenue targets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Leadership
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve organizational goals and revenue targets
    • Identify business opportunities and drive growth initiatives
  • Team Management
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10 sales managers, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
    • Set clear individual and team performance goals, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback.
    • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
  • Sales Performance
    • Completion of the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
    • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
    • Drive the implementation of sales best practices to improve conversion rates and overall sales effectiveness.
    • Ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets and KPIs.
  • Client Relationships
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
    • Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, up- and cross-selling, ensuring always the highest customer satisfaction.
  • Innovation
    • Continuously improve our sales processes, innovate our approaches and drive customer satisfaction


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing a sales team.
  • Proven track record of success in a B2B sales environment.
  • Hands-on mentality, leading by example.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive execution, without getting lost in details.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Results-oriented with a strong customer focus, consistently overachieving targets.
  • Professional German & English language skills.
