About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Team Lead to join our team at HubSpot. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a sales team to meet or exceed monthly goals, building confidence and trust with direct reports, and providing developmental feedback for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a sales team to meet or exceed monthly goals, including activity metrics, forecasted opportunities, and revenue targets.
  • Build confidence and trust with direct reports and provide developmental feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Coach team members to develop their professional sales skills and build a learning culture.
  • Collaborate with other sales managers, cross-functional partners, directors, and executives to drive business growth.
  • Supervise and conduct training on skills improvement, inbound and outbound sales, multi-product platform sales, product, and marketing topics.
  • Maintain headcount via recruiting, selecting, and training new Inbound Growth Specialists.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of inbound and outbound marketing and the HubSpot platform.
  • Understand your country market(s) and build and execute plans to grow them.
  • Demonstrate HubSpot core values and leadership traits.
Requirements
  • Professional fluency in German and English.
  • Experience leading/managing a sales team is a plus.
  • Experience leading a consultative sales process, with an ability to segment and manage territories effectively.
  • Superior coaching skills, ability to observe, evaluate, and use various techniques to improve results.
  • Detail-oriented and the ability to manage multiple objectives.
  • Good prospecting skills, demonstrate effectiveness on the first part of the HubSpot sales methodology.
  • Strong analytic skills to identify trends and gaps in activities and results to drive changes in team behaviors and build growth plans.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to drive business results through collaboration.
  • Strong individual and team motivation skills, with high self-awareness and good interpersonal and EQ skills.
  • Personal responsibility to hit monthly team goals and a positive attitude.
