Senior VR Games Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior VR Games Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at K5 Factory GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our VR games.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of our VR games.
  • Analyze test requirements to identify potential ambiguities and defects, and develop strategies to prevent them.
  • Identify, categorize, and report bugs during the execution of test plans, and work with the development team to resolve them.
  • Participate in regular reporting of test progress and results, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to risk assessment after test completion, and make recommendations for release.
  • Familiar with JIRA system for adding findings, and understand the process of prioritization in collaboration with the Lead Game Designer.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a QA Manager in Gaming, preferably VR Gaming.
  • Passionate gamer with knowledge of the VR gaming scene.
  • Solid technical knowledge, and enthusiasm for QA.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in using bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA).
  • Ability to work in a self-organized, structured manner, and outside predefined solution paths.
  • Correct prioritization and structuring of workday.
  • Ability to analyze tasks and quickly recognize inconsistencies and problems.
  • Fluency in English, and preferably also German.
  • Solid knowledge in a scripting or programming language, as well as in the use of databases.
