Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:
As a key member of our Quality Assurance team at THQ Nordic, you will be responsible for leading the charge in ensuring the highest quality of our games. This includes managing our internal and external QA teams, driving test plan creation, and ensuring that bug reports are clear and concise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small internal QA team, providing coaching and guidance to team members.
- Develop and implement test plans, schedules, and reporting processes to ensure efficient and effective testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
- Analyze game quality, usability, and platform limitations, communicating identified issues and risks to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain QA processes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in QA, applying this knowledge to improve our testing processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading QA teams in the video games industry.
- Strong understanding of game development processes and testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
