Master Student to Develop Robust Performance Model for Next Generation Gravity Mission

We are seeking a highly motivated Master student to join our team at Airbus Defence and Space GmbH and contribute to the development of a robust performance model for the paired flying satellites of the Next Generation Gravity Mission.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a challenging project that involves the analysis and modeling of the dynamic behavior of the paired spacecraft, as well as the development of a Linear Fractional Transformation (LFT) model to assess the robustness and sensitivity of the system.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in system engineering, dynamics, and robust control, and to contribute to the development of a cutting-edge space mission.
Your Responsibilities:- Develop a robust performance model for the paired flying satellites of the Next Generation Gravity Mission
- Analyze the dynamic behavior of the paired spacecraft and develop a Linear Fractional Transformation (LFT) model
- Assess the robustness and sensitivity of the system using the developed LFT model
- Document your work and present your findings to the team
- Enrolled as a full-time Aerospace Engineering Master student or similar field of study
- Excellent knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and dynamics and robust control
- Desired knowledge in rendezvous applications
- English is mandatory, German would be an asset
