About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our Business Unit, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth in the High Temperature Insulation (HTI) segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell and promote Etex's range of HTI products to meet area sales and revenue targets for the Business Unit and Division.
  • Target the refractory market, including steel and glass production factories, to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Source new sales leads through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, utilizing various communication channels and routes to market.
  • Manage selected segmentation A customers to nurture growth in revenue and margin terms.
  • Collaborate with other segment managers to ensure alignment between customer value propositions and segment strategies.
  • Identify potential customer targets and build a pipeline of qualified opportunities, accurately recording and updating CRM activity.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction with products, solutions, and services.
  • Develop trusting and sustainable long-term relationships through Key Account Management.
  • Establish the technical and commercial needs of customers to provide sustainable, competitive, and value-added solutions.
  • Work with the technical support team to build a comprehensive understanding of Etex products and offer appropriate solutions to customers.
  • Contribute to and develop sales plans to achieve sales goals, increase market share, and secure long-term growth.
  • Track progress against targets and take necessary action to refocus efforts if targets are not being met.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role in the construction industry, preferably with previous experience in the HTI business segment.
  • Ability to develop and sustain a strong professional network and influence solid working relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as effective prioritization and organizational skills with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • A technical background is advantageous, with an engineering or technical qualification desirable.
  • Willingness to travel within the region and deliver on sales targets while working remotely.
  • Fluency in German and English is a must.
