Sales and Marketing Manager for High Temperature Insulation

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our High Temperature Insulation (HTI) business in Germany and Austria. As a key member of our European team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding our market share, and building strong relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet area sales & revenue targets for the Business Unit and Division
- Target the refractory market, including steel and glass production factories, to identify new sales opportunities
- Source new sales leads through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, leveraging all communication mediums and routes to market
- Manage selected segmentation A customers to nurture growth in revenue and margin terms
- Collaborate with other segment managers to ensure alignment between customer value propositions and segment strategies
- Identify potential customer targets and build a pipeline of qualified opportunities, accurately recording and updating CRM activity
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction with products, solutions, and services
- Develop trusting and sustainable long-term relationships through Key Account Management
- Establish the technical and commercial needs of customers to provide sustainable, competitive, and value-added solutions
- Work with the technical support team to build a comprehensive understanding of company products and offer appropriate solutions to customers
- Contribute to and develop sales plans to achieve sales goals, increase market share, and secure long-term growth
- Track progress against targets and take necessary action to refocus efforts if targets are not being met
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role in the construction industry, preferably within the HTI business segment
- Ability to develop and sustain a strong professional network and influence solid working relationships
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective prioritization and organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- A technical background is advantageous, with an engineering/technical qualification desirable
- Willingness to travel within the region and deliver on sales targets while working remotely
- Fluency in German and English language is a must
