Aerodynamics Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Aerodynamics Intern. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for defining requirements for cluster computation, developing a basic aerodynamic setup in OpenFoam, and conducting CFD calculations of sub-, trans-, and hypersonic external flows.

Your Responsibilities
  • Defining requirements for cluster computation
  • Development of a basic aerodynamic setup in OpenFoam
  • Conduction of CFD calculations of sub-, trans-, and hypersonic external flows
  • Conduction of internal CFD calculations including sloshing
  • Optimization of the computation workflow
Your Qualifications
  • Current bachelor or master student in aerospace engineering or simulation technology
  • Previous experience in CFD and aerodynamic courses
  • Good understanding of mathematical and physical modelling of fluids including numerical methods
  • Experience in OpenFOAM, C++, Python, Matlab, and cluster calculation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-study experience
  • Fluent oral and written English skills
