Rocket Factory Augsburg AG, a leading private company in the European space race, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Aerodynamics Intern to join our international and agile team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Define requirements for cluster computation and develop a basic aerodynamic setup in OpenFoam.
  • Conduct CFD calculations of sub-, trans-, and hypersonic external flows, as well as internal CFD calculations including sloshing.
  • Optimize the computation workflow to ensure efficient and accurate results.

Your Qualifications:

  • Current bachelor or master student in aerospace engineering or simulation technology.
  • Previous experience in CFD and aerodynamic courses, with a good understanding of mathematical and physical modeling of fluids, including numerical methods.
  • Experience in OpenFOAM, C++, Python, Matlab, and cluster calculation, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent oral and written English skills, with the ability to work in an international environment.
