Rocket Factory Augsburg AG, a leading private company in the European space race, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Aerodynamics Intern to join our international and agile team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Define requirements for cluster computation and develop a basic aerodynamic setup in OpenFoam.
- Conduct CFD calculations of sub-, trans-, and hypersonic external flows, as well as internal CFD calculations including sloshing.
- Optimize the computation workflow to ensure efficient and accurate results.
Your Qualifications:
- Current bachelor or master student in aerospace engineering or simulation technology.
- Previous experience in CFD and aerodynamic courses, with a good understanding of mathematical and physical modeling of fluids, including numerical methods.
- Experience in OpenFOAM, C++, Python, Matlab, and cluster calculation, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent oral and written English skills, with the ability to work in an international environment.
