Position: Intern/Working Student (f/m/d) in Aerodynamics
Overview:
Become an integral part of the New Space sector in Europe by contributing to innovative projects at OHB. We are seeking a motivated Intern/Working Student specializing in Aerodynamics. This role is ideal for current bachelor or master students pursuing degrees in aerospace engineering or simulation technology, particularly those with a background in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and aerodynamic studies.
Your Responsibilities:
- Establishing specifications for cluster computations
- Creating a foundational aerodynamic configuration using OpenFoam
- Executing CFD analyses for subsonic, transonic, and hypersonic external flows
- Performing internal CFD simulations, including sloshing phenomena
- Enhancing the computational workflow for efficiency
Your Profile:
- Solid grasp of mathematical and physical modeling of fluids, including numerical techniques
- Proficiency in OpenFOAM, C++, Python, Matlab, and cluster computing
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
