Global Accounting Manager

CTG Consulting GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our global accounting processes.

As a key member of the Senior Finance Team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across various departments to drive financial strategy and initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including:

Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing and streamlining accounting processes across all international subsidiaries.
  • Ensuring compliance with global tax regulations in close partnership with our Group Tax Manager and local tax advisors.
  • Coordinating the timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, working collaboratively with the finance team.
  • Actively participating in Senior Finance Team meetings to contribute to strategic discussions and implement key initiatives.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for our auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.
  • Managing cash flow effectively, including organizing regular payment runs and overseeing bank account administration.
Qualifications:
  • A recognized professional qualification such as CPA or tax advisor certification is highly desirable.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is essential.
  • Proven experience leading accounting teams and managing international accounting operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of both national and international accounting standards (IFRS, German GAAP).
  • Extensive experience with German and international tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • A strong track record in preparing financial statements, conducting tax audits, and managing cash flow effectively.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting modules.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with various stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • A highly self-motivated individual with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; German language skills are an asset.
