Position OverviewOur Tubular Glass Business Unit is in search of a seasoned and committed Operational Excellence Manager (m/f/d) to enhance our operations across European and Asian facilities, spearheading improvement initiatives. This role presents a pathway to transition into a Plant Manager (m/f/d) position within a 2 to 3-year timeframe.
- Driving and coordinating continuous enhancement initiatives at production facilities in Europe and Asia, with a focus on quality, process capability, and reduction of Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
- Leading and supporting various (Lean) projects, including cross-facility initiatives.
- Conducting data analysis, planning, and executing improvement projects.
- Stabilizing production processes by implementing work and process standards, alongside Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Fostering a dynamic work environment centered on continuous improvement.
- Regularly reporting and collaborating with the Business Unit Leader.
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in Operational Excellence, encompassing leadership and the implementation of continuous improvement processes and standardization of work methods.
- Demonstrated experience in project management on both regional and global scales.
- Expertise in Lean Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational capabilities, coupled with a hands-on approach.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Willingness to travel frequently to our production facilities.
