Job Title: Vice President of Global Distribution

Siemens AG is seeking an experienced professional to lead our global distribution efforts. As Vice President of Global Distribution, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand our reach and capabilities across all business lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and strengthen partner management: Actively enhance the partner management business, focusing on building a robust international partner network, particularly distributors with capabilities ranging from single product sales to system integration competence.
  • Foster a customer-focused partner network community: Initiate contacts, onboard new partners into the Siemens partner program, and organize partner activities such as fairs, events, webinars, and trainings.
  • Build and implement development plans for distribution partners: Regular progress monitoring and adjustments.
  • Provide extensive support to partners: Assess their markets and needs, ensuring a customer- and partner-centric product offering.
  • Drive the adoption of digital business models with partners: Digital selling and e-business readiness for distributors, with a focus on CAx, master data, and comprehensive web shop support.
  • Coordinate and implement valuable marketing campaigns and digital marketing initiatives: Alignment with regional contacts.
  • Contribute to the establishment and execution of relevant partner projects.
  • Serve as the liaison between headquarters, regional sales, and partners: Integral part of the HQ Sales Partner Management Team.
  • Represent partner sales: Deliver sales presentations and trainings to colleagues and partners.
Requirements:
  • Experience in leading country, regional, and global distribution partners within Digital Industries, IoT, or software ecosystems.
  • Proven track record in channel management and business development: Measurable success in expanding and building routes to market (RTMs) and go-to-market strategies (GTMs) through distributors.
  • In-depth knowledge of channel operating models and programs designed to achieve specific outcomes.
  • Skilled in growing partner ecosystems via distributors: Strong creative thinking, presentation, writing, and communication skills.
  • Long-term experience in channel sales: Solid foundation in the field.
  • Several years managing distribution networks at regional and global levels.
  • Deep understanding of distribution landscapes across different regions and countries.
  • Leading and developing diverse teams of Distribution Sales Account Managers.
  • Comfortably engaging with C-level executives in partner organizations.
  • Strong organizational skills and strategic planning abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English and willing and able to travel more than 50% of the time.
