Job Title: Senior Software Developer

Bosch Building Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, extending, and implementing the Video Streaming Gateway (VSG) and evaluating the impact of new features on the VSG.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement the VSG, ensuring seamless integration with other software components in the BVMS system.
  • Evaluate the impact of new features on the VSG and identify dependencies with other software components.
  • Develop and maintain the CI/CD pipeline in Azure DevOps, focusing on quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure the quality and reliability of the VSG and other video middleware components.
  • Analyze and resolve errors, including bug fixing, throughout the development process.
Requirements:
  • Completed university studies in computer science, computer engineering, or a comparable subject.
  • Many years of professional experience in software development, with a strong background in C++.
  • Experience with agile development methods, software design, and design architecture.
  • Knowledge of software design patterns, clean architecture, and server/client architectures.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with German and/or Portuguese being an advantage.
