Job Title: Senior Software Developer

At Bosch, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, extending, and implementing the Video Streaming Gateway (VSG) and evaluating the impact of new features on the VSG.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, extend, and implement the VSG, ensuring seamless integration with other software components.
  • Evaluate the impact of new features on the VSG and identify dependencies with other software components.
  • Develop and maintain the CI/CD pipeline in Azure DevOps, focusing on quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the team to introduce quality assurance concepts and ensure compliance with video middleware components.
  • Analyze errors, including bug fixing, throughout the development process.
  • Develop and implement solutions to customer problems, assessing the impact on other BVMS/video middleware components.
  • Participate in code reviews and present larger features to the team, including architecture and dependencies.
  • Act as a contact person for technical questions from various stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Completed university studies in computer science, computer engineering, or a comparable subject.
  • Many years of professional experience in software development, with a strong background in C++.
  • Experience with agile development methods, software design, and design architecture.
  • Knowledge of OOP concepts, SOLID principles, design patterns, clean architecture, server/client architectures, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with web services, API integrations, unit testing frameworks, and debugging techniques.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, video over IP, video streaming, and the ONVIF standard.
