Compensation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Specialist to join our team at ALTANA AG. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and further developing our SAP SuccessFactors compensation module.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure testing and documentation of system configuration and acceptance reports
  • Support organizational communication and change management
  • Coach HR managers at domestic and foreign locations and provide best practices and documents for manager training courses
  • Independently handle sub-projects related to compensation, including remuneration analyses, further development, and redesign of remuneration regulations, job evaluations, and benchmarking and remuneration determination
  • Prepare reports, statistics, and presentations for the divisions in the area of compensation
Requirements
  • Master's degree, preferably with a focus on HR, and professional experience in compensation, controlling, or HR analytics in an international context or a comparable consulting activity
  • Very good communication skills in German and English
  • Strong analytical skills, affinity for IT systems, technical preparation, processing, and evaluation of data
  • Independent and solution-oriented work style, sense of responsibility, initiative, and team spirit
