BorgWarner is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in Luxembourg. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing commercial relationships with key customers and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive customer strategies to improve profitability and growth.
- Articulate a clear understanding of market share, competitive position, and profitability at each assigned account.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deploy pricing strategies that are market-driven and based on value provided to the customer.
- Develop and deploy customer interface strategies and build strong relationships with key decision makers.
- Develop proactive new business opportunity plans and track progress toward sales objectives.
- Monitor market dynamics and provide relevant information to sales management.
- Take ownership of total customer satisfaction and monitor performance on key supplier metrics.
- Develop sales forecasts and monitor market trends.
- Comply with contract review procedures and BorgWarner commercial policies.
- Hands-on experience in sales and ability to deliver excellent customer experience.
- Knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS PowerPoint.
- Understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Business/commercial acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
- Proven negotiation experience.
- Ability to think strategically.
- Proven experience of managing people.
Travel will be expected to fulfill the role and manage nominated customer accounts. The ideal candidate will be a structured individual with good problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and able to deal with all levels of the organization and customers.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree - preferable or equivalent professional qualification and experience.
- Fluent in English.
- Any other languages can be an asset.
- Relevant professional experience post-graduation.
- Experience may preferably be gained in the automotive, OEM, or Tier 1 background.
