About the Role

BorgWarner is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in Luxembourg. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing commercial relationships with key customers and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive customer strategies to improve profitability and growth.
  • Articulate a clear understanding of market share, competitive position, and profitability at each assigned account.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deploy pricing strategies that are market-driven and based on value provided to the customer.
  • Develop and deploy customer interface strategies and build strong relationships with key decision makers.
  • Develop proactive new business opportunity plans and track progress toward sales objectives.
  • Monitor market dynamics and provide relevant information to sales management.
  • Take ownership of total customer satisfaction and monitor performance on key supplier metrics.
  • Develop sales forecasts and monitor market trends.
  • Comply with contract review procedures and BorgWarner commercial policies.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in sales and ability to deliver excellent customer experience.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Business/commercial acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Proven negotiation experience.
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Proven experience of managing people.
Travel and Personal Attributes

Travel will be expected to fulfill the role and manage nominated customer accounts. The ideal candidate will be a structured individual with good problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and able to deal with all levels of the organization and customers.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree - preferable or equivalent professional qualification and experience.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Any other languages can be an asset.
  • Relevant professional experience post-graduation.
  • Experience may preferably be gained in the automotive, OEM, or Tier 1 background.
