Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) Site Lead to oversee our Process Engineering department. This role is pivotal in defining strategies and providing technical guidance to enhance the Site's Manufacturing Value Streams, including Base Fractionation, Bulk Production, Aseptic Filling, and Visual Inspection.

Key Responsibilities:
The MS&T Site Lead will:

  • Be accountable for the safety, quality, and reliability of supply across a variety of complex processes and products.
  • Lead a team of engineers and scientists specializing in cell culture, purification, formulation, and aseptic filling of vials and syringes for both liquid and lyophilized parenteral products.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for the Site's Manufacturing Operations across all Value Streams and Facilities.
  • Develop and sustain a diverse collaborative network to ensure ongoing technical support for manufacturing challenges and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with global Centers of Excellence, Process Owners, and Product Technical Stewards to bolster Process Robustness through effective monitoring and lifecycle management.
  • Provide technical leadership for site and global Taskforces to address critical deviations and complex issues.
  • Understand regulatory requirements and work closely with Manufacturing Value Streams, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs to create efficient compliance strategies.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess:

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Process Engineering or the commercialization of biopharmaceutical products within the Pharmaceutical or Chemical Manufacturing sectors.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing teams in a global matrix organization.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, multicultural, and international teams.
