Business Development Manager - Ciena Networking

We are seeking a committed Business Development Manager to enhance our operations at TD SYNNEX. In this position, you will oversee the strategic growth and enhancement of our business in collaboration with Ciena, a prominent provider of Optical-Networking and Optical-Routing technologies. Your primary responsibilities will involve pinpointing new market prospects, fostering relationships with potential clients, and acting as the primary liaison for IT system houses.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute business strategies
  • Establish revenue targets and ensure their attainment
  • Acquire and nurture new and existing clientele
  • Build and sustain partnerships with stakeholders
  • Conduct client visits and organize events
  • Prepare presentations and analytical reports
  • Collaborate effectively with sales and marketing departments
  • Maintain regular communication with Ciena
  • Work in close coordination with our European Networking Team

Your Expertise:

  • Proven experience in Business Development or a similar capacity
  • Understanding of the IT sector and networking technologies
  • Demonstrated success in sales and client acquisition
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal capabilities
  • Highly driven with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
  • Proficiency in both German and English
