Senior Receivables Accountant

Job Overview

  • In this role, you will engage in the daily functions of accounts receivable management, which includes processing transactions in SAP, overseeing dunning procedures, and conducting intercompany reconciliations. You will also play a vital role in the monthly and annual financial closing processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
  • You will take the initiative to drive various defined projects within the accounts receivable domain, focusing on implementing strategies for process optimization and standardization.
  • Your position will require you to be a knowledgeable and dependable contact for customer inquiries, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilizing dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs), you will continuously enhance process quality and efficiency, taking appropriate actions based on your findings.
Qualifications

  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related commercial field, along with several years of relevant practical experience, is essential.
  • Experience in operational accounts receivable accounting for multiple years is required.
  • Familiarity with related fields such as customer service, general ledger accounting, or controlling is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in SAP, particularly within the FI module, is mandatory. Additional experience with SD and process automation is a plus.
  • Initial exposure to process and project management, including participation in an SAP implementation project or Lean Management, is desirable.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required, and good German language skills are a significant advantage.
  • Key strengths should include teamwork, reliability, and a results-oriented approach.
