Senior Financial Transactions Accountant

Job Overview
  • Engage actively in the daily management of accounts receivable operations by processing transactions in SAP, overseeing dunning processes, and conducting intercompany reconciliations. Contribute to the monthly and annual financial closing processes in alignment with IFRS and Local GAAP.
  • Independently spearhead various defined initiatives within the accounts receivable domain, focusing on the implementation of solutions for process optimization and standardization.
  • Act as a knowledgeable and dependable point of contact for customer inquiries, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize dashboards and KPIs proactively to enhance process quality and efficiency, deriving actionable insights.
Qualifications
  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related commercial field, complemented by several years of relevant hands-on experience.
  • Extensive operational experience in Accounts Receivable Accounting.
  • Experience in related areas such as Customer Service, General Ledger Accounting, or Controlling is advantageous.
  • Proficient knowledge of SAP, particularly within the FI module, is essential. Familiarity with SD and process automation is a plus.
  • Initial experience in process and project management, such as participation in an SAP implementation project or Lean Management, is desirable.
  • Fluent communication skills in written and spoken English are required, with good German language skills being a significant advantage.
