About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Mechanical Engineer to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (Germany Branch). As a Data Center Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the mechanical systems of our data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for data centers, including cooling systems, ventilation systems, and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that mechanical systems meet the needs of our customers.
  • Develop and implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce energy consumption and costs.
  • Ensure that all mechanical systems are designed and built to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical systems in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on data centers.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including cooling systems, ventilation systems, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with EPMS/SCADA/BMS controls systems.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations for data centers.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
