About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (Germany Branch). As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data centers to ensure they meet the highest standards of efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for our data centers, including cooling systems, power distribution units, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our data centers are designed and built to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Develop and implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce our carbon footprint and operating costs.
  • Work closely with our operations team to ensure that our data centers are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data center design and operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in data center design, construction, or operations.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including cooling systems, power distribution units, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
