About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (Germany Branch). As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the design, construction, and operation of our data centers meet the highest standards of safety, security, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for data centers, including cooling systems, power distribution, and electrical infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other data center components.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve data center efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
  • Conduct site visits and on-site inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, operation manuals, and maintenance procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in industrial or commercial engineering, with a focus on mission-critical facilities, including data centers.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including cooling systems, power distribution, and electrical infrastructure.
  • Experience with design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
