Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our revenue accounting processes, including contract management, financial reporting, and cash collection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of revenue accounting, including contract review, financial reporting, and cash collection.
  • Lead the monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure a robust contract management system is in place.
  • Develop and maintain a robust tracker of non-standard financial terms in contracts.
  • Synchronize and automate revenue reports through engagement with data, sales, and group controlling teams.
  • Develop and document business processes and revenue accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
  • Lead cash collection processes and initiatives to maintain healthy accounts receivable thresholds.
  • Continuously challenge the status quo and stay focused on simplification and automation of revenue accounting processes.
  • Manage, develop, and grow a team of finance operations accountants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting, ideally at hyper-growth companies.
  • Having led a finance team for 2-3 years.
  • Experienced user of Excel.
  • Prior experience working with Netsuite or another major Accounting ERP.
  • Experienced in revenue accounting practices, implementations, and processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and high regard for precision.
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of SQL, Python, and experience automating reports.
