Strategic Finance Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Finance Leader to oversee the financial operations for our Central Europe Team, primarily focusing on Germany and Italy. As a key business partner, you will ensure that financial practices support the company's goals and comply with regulations regarding our assets in the region.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Operations Management: Oversee all financial activities, including bookkeeping, accounting, tax compliance, and bank management, ensuring that all operations follow the internal Delegation of Responsibilities (DOR) and external regulations.
- Business Partnership: Represent the Finance department as a primary business partner to internal teams and external stakeholders, such as banks, auditors, and consultants.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present timely, accurate financial reports to top management and internal parties, ensuring clear communication and financial transparency.
- Project Finance: Lead the financial and tax aspects of projects across the entire development cycle, including acquisition/incorporation, execution, and exit.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and oversee the financial accounts team, ensuring that their workload aligns with business priorities and that tasks are completed effectively.
- Team Development: Identify development and training needs for team members and take action to ensure those needs are met, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Performance Management: Set clear performance expectations for your team, mentor and support them, and provide regular feedback to drive high performance and accountability.
- Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve financial operations, taking ownership of incremental process improvements and implementing solutions that add value to the business.
- Operational Efficiency: Work cross-functionally to ensure that all finance-related processes align with broader business goals and operational efficiency.
- Education: Master's degree in finance, business administration, or a similar field.
- Experience: Over 10 years of experience in finance, preferably in the renewable energy, EPC, infrastructure, or construction industries.
- Leadership Experience: At least 5 years of experience managing finance or accounting teams, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements in Germany.
- International Experience: Proven track record of managing financial operations in complex international organizations.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English, with additional languages like German or Korean being a plus.
