We are looking for a driven OBC Customer Services Agent (m/f/d) to become part of our expanding team. Our ideal candidate may have some foundational knowledge from a travel, freight forwarding, or similar aviation-related position, but the desire to thrive in this dynamic environment is more important than formal experience.
The successful applicant will be a self-proclaimed 'aviation enthusiast' and will enjoy collaborating as part of a diverse global team – a good sense of humor is essential to navigate this environment. We are also seeking fluent speakers of both German and English to accommodate the international nature of our operations.
Role Purpose
Key Responsibilities
To exercise discretion and independent judgment in executing job duties. To collaborate with management to formulate suitable policies to achieve company goals. To work directly with management to implement company policies ensuring customer needs are fulfilled, such as budgeting and timely delivery. To optimize business opportunities by offering clients tailored solutions that meet their requests within budgetary and operational constraints while ensuring profitability for the company. To foster strong productive relationships with clients to ensure business objectives are met. To monitor and track ongoing shipments to guarantee high-quality service delivery to customers and meet company expectations at all times. To maintain accurate information and status updates on OBC shipments. To handle invoicing and order settlements. To participate in conference calls to ensure effective information sharing and awareness among the OBC team and other offices. To assist in the development and execution of annual strategies outlined by senior management and management teams. To perform any other duties within the role holder's competence as requested (including additional working hours as needed). To travel as required based on business needs. To be aware of and comply with company policies. To participate in a rotating out-of-hours duty schedule within the commercial team.Desired Qualities
