Your Responsibilities
- Organizing and conducting user research initiatives (including qualitative one-on-one moderated usability testing, quantitative unmoderated online studies, and ideation workshops with clients).
- Assisting in the preparation, execution, and analysis of automated unmoderated user studies (similar to complex online surveys, but incorporating interactive prototype tasks, click tests, card sorting, etc.) using tools like UserZoom and UserTesting.
- Evaluating existing data (such as tracking data, customer feedback, and open-ended comments) to derive insights and formulate hypotheses for further investigation.
- Assisting in the measurement of UX key performance indicators, objectives, and metrics.
- Managing research-related operational tasks, including participant logistics and preparation of results presentations.
- Facilitating effective communication within the UX and product management/development teams.
Your Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in applied sciences (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, applied psychology, computational linguistics, software engineering, interaction design, etc.).
- Experience in applying research methodologies (this can include research outside of UX).
- Familiarity with experimental design, research planning, conducting studies/experiments, statistical analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, manage small projects, engage with various stakeholders, and handle operational and administrative tasks.
- Language proficiency: fluent in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
About Your Team
As a member of the SAP Mobile Experience & Engineering UX Research team, you will thrive in a dynamic environment, collaborating with clients and partners, UX designers, user researchers, product managers, developers, and, most importantly, users.
Your application should include a cover letter, a resume in tabular format, academic certificates, proof of enrollment, a current university transcript, copies of any degrees obtained, and references from previous employers (including internships, if applicable). Please also detail your experience and skills in foreign languages and software/programming languages.
