Job Overview:

We are in search of a client-oriented, energetic Solution Engineer to become a vital member of our collaborative team. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert, assisting sales in effectively positioning the KONUX system with clients and partners. You will contribute to the evolution of the product roadmap and feature specifications through comprehensive customer, domain, and product insights. Collaborating closely with Customer Success, product, and engineering teams, you will articulate the product and vision to optimally address customer needs. Your profound understanding of customer operations, including maintenance practices and their impact on availability, will establish you as the trusted technical authority at both the customer site and KONUX. Our mission is to develop the premier predictive maintenance solution for our railway clients by delivering cutting-edge technology, support, and service, while exceeding client expectations. This position allows for remote work.

Your Contributions:
  • Lead the scoping, management, and execution of customer pilots, demonstrating transformational value to gain technical trust from clients.
  • Identify and analyze customer pain points and requirements.
  • Build and nurture relationships with technical decision-makers and influencers within client organizations.
  • Recognize commonalities in customer processes and tools to enhance the KONUX product value proposition, creating a unified transformative system for the rail sector.
  • Support internal business development, pre-sales initiatives, and sales efforts with expert knowledge of current and future products.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Fundamental understanding of mechanics, physics, and data processing and analysis is essential.
  • 2-5 years of practical technical experience in the rail industry, ideally focusing on railway infrastructure.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment that is transforming an industry.
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships with industry experts, partners, and strategic third parties.
  • Willingness to travel to the field at least two days per week.
  • Fluency in German (C2/1) and Business Proficiency in English (C1) is required for this position.
