Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer / Application Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer / Application Engineer to join our Energy Solutions division in Büdingen or in a home office from various locations in Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the sales department in preparing quotations, accompanying projects, and providing technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand customer technical requirements and support sales department in quotation preparation
  • Accompany projects and operating phase, including 1st level support, on-site
  • Carry out technical analyses on BESS storage project feasibility and viability, preparing detailed tender documents
  • Interface between customer, development department, and project planning
  • First point of contact for planners, installation companies, and EPCs
  • Conduct product training courses and workshops
Requirements:
  • Completed degree in electrical engineering or comparable further training as a technician/master craftsman
  • Several years of experience in project planning and implementation of renewable energy projects (advantageous)
  • Teamwork, structured planning, organization, and sense of responsibility
  • Knowledge/experience in battery technology (advantageous)
  • Confident handling of common PC applications (e.g., MS Office)
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 20-30%)
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
