With a workforce of approximately 3,700 professionals across multiple countries, we specialize in manufacturing complete vehicles and advanced battery systems for electric and hybrid applications.
Your Role
As a vital member of our Purchasing Department, you will lead the charge in developing and executing sourcing strategies for your designated category. Your responsibilities will include:
- Formulating and implementing comprehensive sourcing strategies by leading cross-functional teams.
- Ensuring a competitive supplier portfolio that meets our business requirements in technology, quality, cost efficiency, supply reliability, and ethical standards.
- Guaranteeing the availability of materials and services necessary for manufacturing to achieve our business objectives.
- Managing the total cost of ownership (TCO) for your category and overseeing the RFI/RFQ processes for your components.
Your Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A university degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field, complemented by relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating large-scale and complex business agreements, with a strong grasp of financials and cost structures.
- Prior leadership experience in a Category Management role within a technical environment.
- Fluency in English and German, with the ability to remain composed under pressure and a desire for continuous learning.
