**Global Procurement Category Lead Marketing & Communication**
- Bad Vilbel | Deutschland (DE) | Vollzeit | Unbefristet- For our team Global Indirect Procurement we are searching Global Procurement Category Lead Marketing & Communication:
- As a Marketing and Communication Global Procurement Category Lead you will oversee the procurement and sourcing strategies for marketing and digital communication services on a global scale, as well as managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations to optimize cost-efficiency and quality. You will be also responsible for staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and effectiveness in marketing and digital communication initiatives.**What you can expect**
- You are tasked with developing sustainable strategic category plans across business units or globally, ensuring alignment between global category strategies and local teams.
- You manage relationships to align category strategies with business needs and ensure the supply base can support these strategies.
- You oversee the implementation of category plans and work to gain stakeholder approval and support.
- You provide top-tier procurement expertise, establishing robust supplier management principles, and tracking category performance using designated systems.
- You develop, review, negotiate, and execute complex business agreements and contracts.
- You advise on procurement strategies, negotiation tactics, and the resolution of issues from procurement audits.
- You address quality problems with suppliers and user departments, establishing improvement measures and targets.
- You advise on handling supplier inquiries, protests, appeals, and managing escalated issues.
- You coordinate the introduction of new products and services with relevant departments.
**Who we are looking for**
- You have a Bachelor’s degree, advanced tertiary qualifications preferably in business administration, commerce
- You have extensive years of experience in leading a purchasing department in the pharmaceutical industry or listed categories for Marketing, Digital & Communication (media buying, POSM, creative agency, dgital, sponsorship etc)
- You have experience in supplier management and people management
- You have proven track record of leading large, complex, category management activities at enterprise level, including major, multi-geographic programes
- You have well-developed analytical, conceptual and communication skills
- You can build and sustain positive relationships
- You handle conflicts and negotiations effectively
- You are fluent in English and German (other European languages would be an advantage)
