About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Operations Specialist to join our Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) team in Hannover, Germany. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our complex IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage IT systems, applications, and services to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, escalating as necessary to specialist teams.
- Implement changes to systems and applications to ensure safe and stable operation.
- Support and monitor job management jobs and production schedules.
- Operate and handle implemented service management systems.
- Monitor and eliminate faults in infrastructure systems, including network and building facilities.
- Monitor security systems, including video surveillance and access control.
- Troubleshoot, develop, and escalate error situations, and perform problem tracking.
- Create and maintain documentation.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with relevant vocational qualifications, such as an IT specialist in systems integration, and experience in Windows, Unix, Linux, network, storage systems, and other IT environments.
Requirements
- Relevant vocational qualifications and experience in IT systems integration.
- Experience in job scheduling, preferably with Automic/UC4.
- Experience in resource and workload management monitoring, preferably with CheckMK or Datadog.
- Good knowledge of network infrastructure, including TCP/IP and VLAN.
- Experience in IT support/service management.
