As the Senior People Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in providing support to dedicated business units on all employee-related matters, working closely with the HR Business Partner (HRBP). You will partner with fellow People Operations Managers to refine and enhance Global People Operations processes and policies. While you won't have formal line management duties, you will exhibit situational leadership within a collaborative leadership framework.

Your Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Lifecycle Management:
  • Act as the primary contact for employees across national and international subsidiaries, guiding them through their entire employment journey.
  • Oversee administrative functions such as employment contracts, parental leave requests, references, and HRIS data management.
  • Manage visa processes for international staff and facilitate their successful relocation.
  • Ensure the effective delivery and quality of daily Global People Operations, collaborating with peer People Operations Managers, HRBPs, People Analytics & Infrastructure, Legal, Payroll, and Enterprise IT.
Process Enhancements & Projects:
  • Lead the centralization and standardization of Global People Processes.
  • Direct People Operations without formal line management authority, fostering empowerment and collaboration within the team.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and optimize Global People Operations based on insights from your business units.
  • Manage projects aimed at digitalizing and automating People Operations processes, working closely with our People Analytics & Infrastructure Team to ensure high data quality and develop automated reports and controls. Spearhead diverse initiatives, including global benefits programs.

Your Profile
  • University degree or equivalent apprenticeship focusing on human resources, business administration, organizational psychology, or a related field.
  • Several years of HR Operations experience in a multinational and fast-paced environment. This role is also suitable for those with extensive experience in People Operations within a German labor law context, looking to expand into a broader global role.
  • Strong understanding of German labor law. Experience in international People Operations (UK, US, Spain, Italy) is a plus.
  • Ability to facilitate, support, and guide diverse stakeholders towards successful outcomes. Confidence in decision-making and communication is essential. Previous leadership experience is advantageous.
  • Proven track record in leading projects. Experience and enthusiasm for digitalization and automation initiatives are beneficial.
  • Passion for operational HR work with a solid understanding of service orientation.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Fluency in German and proficient English skills.
  • Prior experience with Personio, Jira, and Google Workspace is a plus.
