The Position

As a Senior People Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in managing all facets of personnel operation services and initiatives. Your role will encompass the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, with an emphasis on fostering a fair and inclusive workplace while enhancing operational efficiency in people processes. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of global human resource practices, employee engagement strategies, and improving the overall employee experience to ensure that LucaNet AG remains a leader in attracting and retaining exceptional talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the second level of support for employee inquiries and assist People Business Partners with administrative and organizational tasks, stepping in for cases requiring additional support.
  • Oversee the management of people service channels, ensuring inquiries are handled securely and efficiently.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding employment, payroll, taxation, and social security regulations.
  • Oversee all operational functions throughout the employee lifecycle, including pre-onboarding, onboarding, and offboarding processes, as well as personnel and salary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance in all related matters.
  • Prepare documentation related to personnel, such as contracts, certificates, references, and reports.
  • Maintain accurate personnel data within the HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations in people administration.
  • Manage and enhance People Operations processes to support both the team and the organization.
  • Proactively recommend improvements to People Operations processes, focusing on automation to reduce administrative burdens.
  • Generate regular reports to monitor team and departmental key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead functional initiatives in People Operations and cross-departmental projects.
  • Oversee the tools and systems used in People Operations.
Qualifications
  • 4-5+ years of experience in a People Operations role, preferably in dynamic, global scale-up or high-growth environments.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated reliability, independence, and a structured approach to work, with a high level of service orientation.
  • Eagerness to learn quickly and a proactive approach to process improvement, supported by an analytical mindset.
  • Solid understanding of employment law, particularly in relation to contracts, payroll, and benefits.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous, with native-level German being preferred.
