Senior Human Resources Operations Manager

We are an innovative People & Culture team functioning within a matrix structure, committed to nurturing a collaborative workplace.
As the Senior People Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in assisting dedicated business units with all employee-related matters, directly reporting to the HR Business Partner (HRBP). You will work alongside fellow People Operations Managers to refine and enhance Global People Operations processes and policies. While you will not have formal line management duties, you will assume situational leadership within a collaborative leadership framework.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesManagement of Employee Lifecycle:
- Act as the primary contact for employees across national and international subsidiaries, providing support throughout their entire employment journey.
- Oversee administrative functions such as employment contracts, parental leave requests, references, and HRIS data management.
- Facilitate the visa process for international employees and assist with their successful relocation.
- Ensure the effective delivery and quality of daily Global People Operations while collaborating with peer People Operations Managers, HRBPs, People Analytics & Infrastructure, Legal, Payroll, and Enterprise IT.
Process Enhancements & Initiatives:
- Champion the centralization and standardization of Global People Processes.
- Guide People Operations without formal line management authority, influencing the team laterally, with a focus on empowerment and collaboration.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and optimize Global People Operations based on insights gained from your business units.
- Lead initiatives to digitalize and automate People Operations processes, working closely with our People Analytics & Infrastructure Team to ensure high data quality and develop automated reports and controls.
Manage diverse projects, including global benefits programs.

- A University Degree or a completed apprenticeship focusing on human resources, business administration, organizational psychology, or a related field.
- Several years of HR Operations experience in a multinational and fast-paced environment. This role is also suitable for those with extensive experience in People Operations within a German labor law context who are eager to broaden their scope globally.
- Strong understanding of German labor law. Experience in international People Operations (UK, US, Spain, Italy) is a plus.
- Ability to facilitate, support, and guide diverse stakeholders towards successful outcomes. Confidence in decision-making and communication is essential. Previous leadership experience is advantageous.
- A proven track record of leading projects. Experience and enthusiasm for digitalization and automation projects are beneficial.
- A passion for operational HR work with a strong service orientation.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Fluency in German and proficient English skills.
- Previous experience with tools such as Personio, Jira, and Google Workspace is advantageous.
