Position Overview

Solutions for a better living. The Bosch Building Technologies division is a globally recognized provider of systems, solutions, and services that enhance the safety of individuals, buildings, and assets while contributing to greater comfort, energy efficiency, and sustainability.

This division is structured into international product business and regional system integration. Currently, the three product areas of video systems, access control & intrusion detection systems, and communication systems, along with their cross-functional roles, are being established as an independent unit to be further developed as a sustainable core business by a new owner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in international and interdisciplinary collaboration: As an IT Procurement Business Leader (w/m/div.), you will be part of a newly established entity and contribute to a globally connected team of approximately 4,300 colleagues across more than 50 countries.
  • Support the development of the IT governance framework for procurement.
  • Possess knowledge of modern procurement solutions for Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
  • Demonstrate expertise in SAP ECC and assist in the design and evaluation of new procurement solutions outside of SAP, including necessary interfaces.
  • Be responsible for validating IT technical solutions and overseeing their implementation.
  • Coordinate and conduct acceptance testing.
  • Assist in the rollout of IT solutions and related training initiatives within procurement.
  • Support the transition to S/4 Hana for the Source-to-Order (S2O) process.
  • Monitor and enhance the IT tools in use and drive the digitalization of processes.
  • Ensure coordination and support in the creation of IT business requests.
  • Maintain existing data sources with a focus on data quality issues.
  • Manage key users for IT applications in procurement.
  • Conduct regular market observations and stay updated on current IT trends in the procurement landscape.
  • Oversee one or more external IT service providers.
Qualifications
  • Education: A completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Experience and Expertise: Several years of professional experience in supply chain management, procurement, and logistics, along with relevant IT tools.
  • Personal Attributes and Work Style: Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and achieve results; capacity to work under pressure; skill in prioritizing tasks and responsibilities; project management capabilities; and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Languages: Proficient in both German and English, spoken and written.
