Freelance IT Procurement Specialist

**Job Summary**
DSJ Global is seeking a highly skilled Freelance IT Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for handling the IT and Telco procurement process, from early definition of the purchasing strategy to completion of contract execution.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate the evaluation process of suppliers in your area of responsibility
- Obtain approval of negotiation results as per the company's governance
- Apply EPO Quality Management Policy and objectives in your area of responsibility
- Check synergies, leverage practices, and bundle project negotiations
- Perform cost analysis and benchmarks on your project
- Manage contract full cycle
- Share knowledge and lessons learned from previous experiences with the team
- Coordinate and work with BCoE to realize contracts and POs
- Manage all local categories for assigned clusters (including subcontracting)
- Support the lead buyer in having a global view on cluster operational and demand health at all times
- Coordinate, guide, and review delegated buyers within the assigned cluster scope
- Contribute to overall master planning and plan execution for the given scope
- Update activity list and status on a day-to-day basis
- Mastery of one of the procurement systems and 1-2 domains of process at least
- Support the lead buyer in maintaining a global picture on subcontracting and category
**Requirements:**
- Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience in an IT and Contract environment
- English - Advanced level. French, Spanish, or German is a plus
- 5 years of experience in Purchases for example as Site Buyer, or in IT Site Operations
- Keen commercial sense
- Dynamic, persistent, working autonomously, and taking initiative
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in SAP Materials Management as a User
