Role OverviewCreating solutions for an improved future. The Bosch Building Technologies division stands as a premier global provider of systems, solutions, and services that enhance the safety of individuals, structures, and assets while promoting comfort, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
The division is structured into an international product business and a regional system integration business. Currently, the three product domains of video surveillance, access control & intrusion detection systems, and communication solutions are being established as an independent unit, which will be further developed into a sustainable core business by a new leader.
- Global and Cross-Functional Collaboration: As the IT Procurement Business Leader (f/m/div.), you will be integral to the formation of the new company and contribute to a globally connected team of approximately 4,300 colleagues across over 50 countries.
- IT Governance Development: You will assist in formulating the IT governance framework for procurement processes.
- Modern Purchasing Solutions: Your expertise in contemporary purchasing solutions for Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) will be essential.
- SAP Expertise: You will possess extensive knowledge of SAP ECC and aid in the design and assessment of new purchasing solutions beyond SAP, including necessary interfaces.
- Validation and Implementation: You will oversee the validation of IT solutions and their deployment.
- Acceptance Testing: You will support, coordinate, and execute acceptance testing procedures.
- Training Initiatives: You will facilitate the introduction of IT solutions and related training programs within the procurement department.
- S/4 Hana Transition: You will have the capability to assist in the transition to S/4 Hana for the Source-to-Order (S2O) process.
- Process Digitalization: Your responsibilities will include monitoring and enhancing the IT tools utilized and driving the digitalization of processes.
- IT Business Requests: You will ensure coordination and support in the development of IT business requests.
- Data Quality Management: You will be responsible for maintaining existing data sources, focusing on data quality issues.
- Key User Management: You will manage key users for IT applications within the procurement function.
- Market Analysis: You will conduct regular market analyses and stay informed about current IT trends in the procurement sector.
- External IT Service Management: Lastly, you will oversee one or more external IT service providers.
- Education: A completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Experience and Knowledge: Several years of professional experience in supply chain management, procurement, and logistics, along with familiarity with relevant IT tools.
- Skills and Attributes: Strong problem identification and solution development skills; ability to work effectively under pressure; adept at prioritizing tasks; project management capabilities; and the ability to multitask and adapt swiftly in a dynamic environment.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken proficiency in both German and English.
