Job Summary:

ID International is seeking a highly skilled Help Desk Manager to support the delivery of technical support services to clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the timely delivery of quality technical support services to clients, whether internal or external.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise subordinate Help Desk Clerks to ensure efficient and effective technical support services.
  • Provide technical support services via phone and in-person to users for standard and non-standard hardware and software systems.
  • Respond to user inquiries regarding problem resolution status and provide timely updates.
  • Install and configure new hardware devices and software applications to meet client needs.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of helpdesk documentation and training materials to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Build and upgrade PCs for new and existing employees to ensure optimal performance.
  • Configure and reset application and network access accounts as required.
  • Coordinate with users to set up, install, and upgrade hardware and software systems.
  • Monitor and manage helpdesk tickets through an ITIL-aligned ticketing system to ensure timely resolution.
  • Document problem resolutions and customer interactions to ensure knowledge sharing and improvement.
  • Provide assistance with IT asset inventory management to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Work with vendors to troubleshoot unique hardware and software systems to ensure effective resolution.
  • Assist in developing standard IT procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Maintain printers, scanners, and smartphones to ensure optimal performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with software and hardware technologies to provide accurate and effective technical support services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management or Business Administration, or equivalent experience in facility work reception management.
  • Documented three years of experience in the Systems Applications and Products (SAP) software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HDICertifications.

Language Requirements:

  • English and German at level 4 proficiency: At this level, an employee is required to possess a high degree of proficiency in both written and spoken English, including the ability to translate the host country language into precise and correct English, and English into the applicable foreign language. On occasion, an employee at this level might be expected to act as an interpreter in situations where considerable importance attaches to proper word meaning.

Computer Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
