Job Title: Help Desk Clerks

About the Role:

IDS International is seeking highly skilled Help Desk Clerks to support the Total Maintenance Contract for the Kaiserslautern Military Community. As a Help Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for providing timely and quality technical support services to clients, both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support via phone and in-person to users for hardware and software systems.
  • Respond to user inquiries regarding problem resolution status.
  • Install and configure new hardware devices and software applications.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining helpdesk documentation and training materials.
  • Build PCs for new employees and provide upgrades for existing employees.
  • Configure and reset application and network access accounts as needed.
  • Coordinate with users for setups, installations, and upgrades.
  • Monitor and manage helpdesk tickets through an ITIL-aligned ticketing system in a timely manner.
  • Document problem resolutions and customer interactions thoroughly.
  • Provide assistance with IT asset inventory management.
  • Work with vendors to troubleshoot unique hardware and software systems.
  • Assist in developing standard IT procedures.
  • Maintain printers, scanners, and smartphones.
  • Stay current with software and hardware technologies to provide accurate responses to user inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Management or Office Automation or Foreign Country Equivalent.
  • Documented two (2) years of experience in facility work reception management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HDICertifications.

Language Requirements:

  • English and German at level 4 proficiency.
