Position Overview: As the Manager of Port Cost Analytics and Operations, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing port-related expenditures and enhancing operational efficiency.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analyses of port expenses, services, and operational processes to uncover cost-saving opportunities and implement strategic initiatives.
- Assist in the development of port cost budgets.
- Oversee procurement activities, negotiate agreements with suppliers, and drive necessary operational actions.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and analyses to stakeholders to facilitate effective itinerary and port planning.
- Support the berth reservation process for AIDA and Costa vessels.
Your Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1.5 years of experience in business administration, shipping, or logistics, ideally within the cruise industry.
- Experience in finance, controlling, or similar fields, with strong financial reporting capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English (the company's official language) and proficiency in computer applications (Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of MXP is advantageous).
