Environmental Analysis and Operations Manager

Carnival Maritime GmbH, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation and plc, is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Analysis and Operations Manager to join its team in Hamburg. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing our decarbonization strategy, driving environmental efficiency, and optimizing waste management initiatives across our fleet.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize waste disposal plans to increase efficiencies for all our vessels
  • Collaborate closely with vessel crews and shore-side departments to achieve significant savings through strategic measures and financial forecasting
  • Identify and apply for environmental discounts and exemptions to reduce costs
  • Actively manage and monitor environmental port costs, leading the monthly variance analysis
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Business Administration, or equivalent
  • Specialization in environmental management systems and several years of environmental management experience, preferably in the maritime industry
  • Previous experience in finance and controlling or related fields, with expertise in financial reporting and presentation
  • Strong English language skills, with Italian and/or German as an added advantage
  • Deep knowledge of Office 365, with expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and Hyperion, QlikView, and Power BI
  • Service-oriented with excellent communication skills and at least 3 years of experience in a managerial role
