Claims Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Claims Specialist to join our team at AXA XL, a division of AXA. As a Senior Claims Specialist in Construction/Energy, you will be responsible for handling complex claims in the Energy and Construction sectors for industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage and process claims within given authority, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution.
- Proactively handle claims, including inspections, report generation, and negotiation with clients and third-party vendors.
- Provide support in the Property area when needed, collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Coordinate communication between parties involved in claims, maintaining open and transparent relationships.
- Evaluate potential recovery options and take necessary actions to maximize recovery and minimize losses.
- Participate in national and international projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor portfolios and control costs, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Underwriting and Sales, to drive business growth and improve service delivery.
Reporting Structure
You will report to the Claims Team Leader for Property/Construction/Energy, working closely with the team to achieve business objectives and drive excellence in claims handling.
