Role Overview - Claims Processing- In the Claims Competence Center, your primary responsibility will be to record and manage claim payments within the international industrial insurance sector, specifically for Property, Liability, Transport, and Technical insurance.
- You will assess incoming invoices from leading insurers, extract pertinent information, and enter it into our IT systems.
- In alignment with contractual obligations, you will initiate payments to the respective insurers, establish reserves for significant claims awaiting review, and process manual payment requests.
- As necessary, you will liaise with insurers and internal departments to address inquiries.
- You will also conduct annual reserve assessments and prepare year-end financial statements in collaboration with accounting and reinsurance teams.
- Additionally, identifying potential process improvements and proposing effective solutions will be part of your role.
- You exhibit a strong service orientation and a drive for performance.
- You possess excellent teamwork skills, adaptability, and resilience.
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally as an Insurance and Finance Clerk.
- Previous experience in claims processing is a plus.
- Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken) is essential; additional language skills are advantageous but not required.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications rounds out your profile.
