Job Overview
Role Expectations:
- You will design and implement comprehensive research initiatives, primarily focusing on qualitative methodologies to understand the needs of users in the real estate market.
- You will determine and apply the most suitable research techniques for foundational, strategic, or tactical inquiries.
- You will create strategic frameworks that enhance our understanding of user behavior and continuously update these frameworks with fresh insights.
- You will establish, maintain, and refine our tools for measuring user experience key performance indicators (KPIs).
- You will provide guidance and support to product design teams in executing their own research initiatives.
- You will engage with various stakeholders to promote a deep understanding of user needs and assist in clarifying complex problem areas.
- You will facilitate internal workshops aimed at harnessing existing knowledge or generating innovative ideas, such as Design Sprints.
- You will collaborate with product teams to ensure that your insights are effectively integrated into the product development roadmap.
- You will work closely with product designers and managers to proactively identify opportunities for impactful research.
- You will adapt research processes and methodologies as needed to work effectively with diverse cross-functional teams.
- You will synthesize existing data from previous UX and market research, analytics, and customer feedback to inform your research efforts.
- You will partner with colleagues in our international research team to lead and execute studies across different countries.
- You will conduct on-site surveys to enhance and quantify qualitative insights.
- You will consistently challenge teams to prioritize user needs in their decision-making.
- You will ensure clear and effective communication of insights to the product team and a broader range of stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
Ideal Qualifications:
- You possess over 5 years of experience as a UX researcher, ideally in collaboration with UX/product designers and product managers.
- As a native or proficient French speaker, you are skilled in qualitative research techniques such as user interviews and focus groups in French, with a strong ability to analyze user feedback at a high level of comprehension.
- You are naturally curious, always seeking to understand, and comfortable questioning assumptions.
- You exhibit deep empathy, a collaborative spirit, and excellent communication skills.
- You thrive in complex, international environments, managing multiple research topics simultaneously.
- You can translate technical and business requirements into relevant research questions.
- You have experience in developing customer journeys and are familiar with the jobs-to-be-done framework.
- You are fluent in English and capable of conducting most daily tasks and research planning in English.
- Experience with marketplace platforms is advantageous.
