Job Description
What we are looking for:
- You will oversee and implement all stages of a research initiative, emphasizing qualitative studies with our clientele in the real estate sector.
- You will determine and apply the appropriate research methodologies for foundational, strategic, or tactical inquiries.
- You will create strategic frameworks to enhance our understanding of users and keep these frameworks updated with fresh insights.
- You will establish, maintain, and continuously refine our tools for measuring UX Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- You will educate and assist our product design colleagues in initiating their own research activities.
- You will manage diverse stakeholders, promoting an understanding of user needs and aiding in clarifying often ambiguous problem areas.
- You will facilitate internal workshops to compile existing knowledge or generate innovative ideas (e.g., Design Sprints).
- You will collaborate with product teams, building your influence to ensure that your insights are sustainable and integrated into the product roadmap.
- You will work closely with product designers and managers, proactively identifying opportunities for impactful research.
- You will adapt processes and methodologies as necessary to collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams.
- You will synthesize existing data, such as prior studies from both UX and market research, analytics data, or feedback collected by our customer success teams, with your own findings.
- You will collaborate with colleagues in our international research team to lead, plan, and execute cross-country studies.
- You will conduct on-site surveys to enrich and quantify our qualitative insights.
- You will consistently challenge teams to prioritize user needs.
- You will ensure effective and precise communication and dissemination of insights to the product team and a broader range of stakeholders.
Qualifications
Who you are:
- You possess over 5 years of experience (either in an agency or corporate setting) as a UX researcher, ideally collaborating directly with UX/product designers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- As a native or proficient French speaker, you are skilled in employing qualitative research techniques such as user interviews and focus groups in French. You should also be able to thoroughly comprehend and analyze user feedback, ideally at a level equivalent to at least C1 within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- You are inquisitive, always seeking to understand, and comfortable asking questions and challenging assumptions.
- You are deeply empathetic, collaborative, and possess strong communication skills.
- You thrive in a complex, international environment, managing multiple stakeholders and supporting various research topics simultaneously.
- You can understand technical and business requirements and translate them into research inquiries.
- You have experience in developing customer journeys and are familiar with the jobs-to-be-done framework.
- You are fluent in English and comfortable conducting most of your daily work, planning research with stakeholders, and communicating research results in English (equivalent to at least B2 level within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). We also offer English classes to support your development.
- Experience with marketplace platforms is an advantage.
