Job Description
What we are looking for:
- You will oversee and implement all stages of a research initiative, concentrating on qualitative insights from users in the real estate market.
- You will identify and apply the appropriate research methodologies for foundational, strategic, or tactical inquiries.
- You will create strategic frameworks that enhance our understanding of users and ensure these frameworks are regularly updated with fresh insights.
- You will establish, maintain, and continuously refine our tools for measuring UX Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- You will provide education and support to our product design teams in executing their own research initiatives.
- You will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, promoting an understanding of user needs and assisting in clarifying often ambiguous problem areas.
- You will facilitate internal workshops to consolidate existing knowledge or generate innovative ideas (e.g., Design Sprints).
- You will collaborate with product teams, building your influence to ensure that your insights are sustainable and integrated into the product development roadmap.
- You will work closely with product designers and managers, proactively identifying opportunities for impactful research collaborations.
- You will adapt processes and methodologies as needed to effectively engage with multiple cross-functional teams.
- You will synthesize existing data from previous UX and market research, analytics, or feedback from customer success teams with your own findings.
- You will partner with colleagues in our international research team to lead, plan, and execute studies across different countries.
- You will conduct on-site surveys to enhance and quantify qualitative insights.
- You will consistently challenge teams to prioritize user needs.
- You will ensure clear and effective communication of insights to the product team and a broader range of stakeholders.
Qualifications
Who you are:
- You possess over 5 years of experience as a UX researcher, ideally in collaboration with UX/product designers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- As a native or proficient French speaker, you can effectively utilize qualitative research techniques such as user interviews and focus groups in French, and analyze user feedback with a high level of comprehension, ideally at C1 level.
- You are naturally curious, eager to understand, and comfortable challenging assumptions.
- You exhibit deep empathy, a collaborative mindset, and strong communication skills.
- You thrive in complex, international environments, managing multiple research topics simultaneously.
- You can translate technical and business requirements into actionable research questions.
- You have experience in developing customer journeys and are familiar with the jobs-to-be-done framework.
- You are fluent in English and can conduct most of your daily work, plan research, and communicate results in English (at least B2 level).
- Experience with marketplace platforms is an advantage.
