PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS ORGANIZATION:

Business Collaboration

Serve as the Technology Business Partner, enabling the Legal and Compliance sectors to achieve the mission of Fresenius and prioritize their key objectives. Champion the requirements of the Legal and Compliance sectors in executing their technology strategies and specific projects. Ensure the fulfillment of all necessary requirements to advance initiatives, including Enterprise Architecture, Data Privacy, Information Security, and more. Collaborate with leadership in Legal and Compliance to develop and secure approval for business cases that justify technology initiatives. Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of all technology programs, projects, and initiatives, maintaining agreed-upon scope and quality standards.

Customer Experience / Ongoing Enhancement

Assess customer satisfaction within Legal and Compliance, both formally and informally, regarding the products, services, and solutions provided. Aim for continuous improvement. Develop Service Level Agreements and Performance Metrics for the offerings provided to Legal and Compliance clients, including resolution times and production release schedules. Regularly evaluate the products, services, and solutions to ensure they meet the needs of Legal and Compliance clients, pursuing enhancements where necessary. Consider factors such as licensing costs, usability, and compliance with security/audit standards. Monitor and manage the performance of external support vendors for Legal and Compliance, establishing Service Level Agreements and Performance Metrics for their offerings and addressing any performance shortfalls.

Agile Project Management

Promote the adoption of Agile methodologies in the development and enhancement of products, services, and solutions. Ensure all team members receive necessary training and resources to operate effectively within an Agile framework.

Financial Oversight

Continuously track organizational expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising customer satisfaction. Ensure that evaluations of new additions or enhancements to products, services, and solutions prioritize cost considerations.

Compliance & Governance Support

Assist in meeting all audit and compliance obligations, including Software Development Life Cycle, SOX, Global Data Privacy, and Internal Controls. Support governance processes for Legal, Compliance, and DTI Enterprise Services, including Intake, Change Request, Initiative Review & Approval, and Release Management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as the product owner for Legal and Compliance Technology Platforms. Collaborate with Legal and Compliance Business Owners to define the digital strategy and roadmap for relevant platforms and functionalities. Conduct necessary Business Analysis for new requirements, including concepts in the evaluation phase, in close partnership with Legal and Compliance leadership. Define solution architecture specific to functionality when needed. Stay informed about developments in Legal and Compliance products and assess their potential benefits for Fresenius. Implement new functionalities as appropriate and upon approval. Ensure all system modifications, including configurations, are executed according to approved requirements, with all documentation and signoff processes completed. Fulfill all testing and quality assurance requirements for system changes, in collaboration with Testing Managers and Project Managers.

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree; an advanced degree is desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Extensive experience in global Legal and Compliance technology management and support, preferably 10+ years. Proven experience in implementing and supporting Legal and Compliance technology in a production environment, ideally 5+ years. Experience supporting a Global Legal and Compliance Technology environment across multiple countries and a large employee base. Significant experience in a Legal/Compliance organization or role, with at least 10 years in a relevant capacity. Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between Legal and Compliance needs and technology solutions through system expertise and creativity. Strong customer service orientation, with a commitment to understanding and addressing the needs of employees and customers. Approach challenges with a focus on process and operational efficiency.

This position is remote with occasional travel required for global responsibilities.
